The Pour

Everyone deserves a holiday, even ghosts. Just before fall begins, marking the peak haunting season, Walter heads to the annual convention for ghouls, ghosts, and gremlins. Officially, it's the top event for picking up the latest tips, tricks, and innovations in scaring and haunting. Unofficially, it feels more like a tropical resort getaway, where attendees indulge and escape their routines, much like a typical work conference. No one is fooling anyone. For his part, Walter is just trying to relax for a couple of days and soak up some moon rays. Most importantly, he's just craving a fruity, tropical drink, but he's still wary of judgment from the old guard. His clever solution? Have the bartender craft a sweet drink with just a splash of whiskey for a hint of color, served in a lowball glass. The delightful creation is the Tipsy Boo.

Safety Instructions

Wick - Always ensure that the wick is trimmed to 1/4”. Whether it is your first burn or your last, it is important for both the quality of burn and safety to ensure that the wick is properly trimmed to the recommended length.

Candle Placement – Always burn your candle on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface or coaster. Keep the burning candle away from low-hanging items that could fall into it. Always keep a burning candle out of reach of pets and children. Keep clear of drafts. Breezes around a candle can cause soot and carbon buildup on the wick, commonly referred to as mushrooming. Always burn your candle within view.

Burn Time – The recommended proper burn time for a scented container candle is between 3-4 hours. You should not burn your candle longer than the recommended timeframe. It is especially important during the first couple of lighting intervals to keep them as close to four hours as possible. This allows the wax pool to reach the edges of the glass. Failure to do so can result in tunneling. A small amount of tunneling can be normal going into the third burn, but it is generally corrected toward the middle of the candle.

When To Stop – Cease burning the candle when it is ¼” from the bottom of the jar.
