The Pour

Have you ever bought a soap, realized it was your favorite, only to find out it was being discontinued, so you, not exaggerating, buy 15-20 bottles of it? When you get down to your last bottle, you realize you would do anything to try to recreate it, so you open a candle business in an attempt to reclaim that smell? No? Just us? Huh, maybe we went too far, or perhaps we backed into what we were supposed to be doing this whole time. Either way, this candle is as close as we have gotten. It isn't perfect, and it is definitely not what we originally set out to recreate, but we think it is pretty awesome anyway. You might not think coconut and white eucalyptus go together, but trust us. After smelling this candle countless times, it is now hard to imagine it any other way. It is the perfect candle to burn if you are feeling tropical; maybe it has been too long since you've seen the beach, or you are just as obsessed with the scent as we are.

Safety Instructions

Wick - Always ensure that the wick is trimmed to 1/4”. Whether it is your first burn or your last, it is important for both the quality of burn and safety to ensure that the wick is properly trimmed to the recommended length.

Candle Placement – Always burn your candle on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface or coaster. Keep the burning candle away from low-hanging items that could fall into it. Always keep a burning candle out of reach of pets and children. Keep clear of drafts. Breezes around a candle can cause soot and carbon buildup on the wick, commonly referred to as mushrooming. Always burn your candle within view.

Burn Time – The recommended proper burn time for a scented container candle is between 3-4 hours. You should not burn your candle longer than the recommended timeframe. It is especially important during the first couple of lighting intervals to keep them as close to four hours as possible. This allows the wax pool to reach the edges of the glass. Failure to do so can result in tunneling. A small amount of tunneling can be normal going into the third burn, but it is generally corrected toward the middle of the candle.

When To Stop – Cease burning the candle when it is ¼” from the bottom of the jar.
